Pregnancy is a time of trials and tribulations for any couple especially the lady. At this time one requires a team of expert doctors, modern technology and loving responsible care. I got this and much more at Mayflower.

Being Lupus Anticoagulant positive I needed extra care and medical attention which I got in plentiful here. I had the good fortune of being Dr. Yogendra Jhala’s patients along with Dr. R. G. Patel. At every stage Dr. Yogendra Jhala walked me through and explained the status of my pregnancy. I was also explained the risks which I appreciated. The radiologist Dr. Shefali Shah at every scan found the time to explain to me the growth of foetus which was exciting. They have state of art technology like Doppler Scans, foetus cardiogram machines, water delivery etc.

I found the Doctors here a medley of “emotional professionalism”. They did their job professionally but had their hearts in the right place.

Having had to go through a C-section few weeks before my expected date of delivery. I was guided through the procedure. Dr. Jhala prepared me physically and mentally. In the operation theatre I felt no fear whatsoever. The atmosphere was friendly and comforting.

After the baby’s birth the podiatrist efficiently took over the examination of the baby. All required tests were performed. All information and tips on baby care were given to me by Dr. Priyanka Jain.

The hospital is clean and tidy. The staff is very polite and helpful. The junior doctors are adept at their job. The catering is hygienic. They have a dietician who suggests what nutrition is required at this time.

I think would be an opportune time to thank Dr. R. G. Patel, Dr. (Mrs.) M. Jhala, Dr. Saveena Kadoo and Dr. Priti Mehta. And above all I am indebted to Dr. Y. Jhala due to  whose genius. Experience and care I took my bundle of joy home. It was a privilege to be his patient. And a big thanks to the staff of Mayflower – Senior Dr’s, Junior Dr’s, Sister, Nurses, Ayas and Canteen staff who were instrumental in making my stay at Mayflower so comfortable.
