Infertility Specialist Dr Meena, after completing MB BS in 1992 (gold medal in Anatomy), started training as a resident Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the N.H.L. Medical College, Ahmedabad. She received her DGO (Diploma degree) in 1994 & then M.D. (Indian Postgraduate degree) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 1996. In the meanwhile, she also went & did clinical attachment in Basildon in UK in 1994. During that period she gained very valuable experience in general obstetrics & Gynaecology.
She gained considerable experience in management of high-risk pregnancy & endoscopic surgery. She also obtained endoscopy training with Dr P G Paul, Cochin in 2000. Her main areas of interest are reproductive medicine, male & female infertility & IVF (TEST-TUBE) treatment. She is also a member of the ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology). She has received special training in Sweden in embryo transfer technique in IVF treatment.
