Laser Assisted Hatching:
Amongst the women of upper age group the outer shell of embryo (ZONA) is tough for embryo to break it or those cases where they have failed to conceive after repeated trials of IVF require assisted hatching. We have Diode laser for Assisted Hatching (LAH) that helps to slash ZONA very precisely & improves success rate. Ova with thick zona pellucida are treated with laser assisted hatching (Zona drilling / Zona slashing / Zona thinning). This is helpful for patients of old age who are going for IVF-ET, ICSI, and PGD. Laser is also used to immobilize the spermatozoa for ICSI procedure.
